The racing photography for the international website proved to be too much time and affected way too many things in my life. This year I will shoot only vintage races for them. Still plan on shooting some local racing events and continuing to watch a friend of mine go further into pro racing.
Desperately need to organize the stitching stash, so many free charts printed and they need to go into folder and be filed. In 2012, I made an Excel spreadsheet for all the purchases charts and all the overdyed threads. Have to think of a way to document all free charts.
Garden wise, oh my, it is such a mess! So many things to dig out! So many beds to redo! So many seed catalogs have already arrived. SO many new plants I want to try. Going to be really busy this year outside.
2013 will see me finally take a non-racing vacation. First time since 1999! My best friend (Mary) and I decided to take an uber girly vacation. We are going to head South and visit tea rooms and antique stores, going so far as to even wear fancy hats for tea. So far we have decided on Savannah, Georgia, Charleston, SC and the Elizabethan Garden near Nags Head, NC. Of course, all of my camera gear is going and I plan on taking a few photographers tours. Shoot tons of photos and rekindle my love of flower photography. I miss shooting photos for me and having no deadlines!
