Well, it is almost that time of the year. Time to ring out the old and welcome the new. Time to start fresh, to forget all the old woes and only look to the new experiences that lay ahead.

Resolutions, that word has always seemed so hard and fast to me. I make suggested goals. Most of mine deal with photography and growing my skills and trying my hand at making it a business. Of course there is always good health. Successful gardening. Always a goal as well. As is doing more cross stitch. A new goal for me is making a quilt and having the top finished before racing season starts in April.

What ever your goals (resolutions) are may you have success in achieving them!

Good bye 2009 and welcome 2010!

(this is me at a 24 hour race, this is what I look like after being awake for 28 hours.Yes, you are not seeing things, I do not use a monopod or tripod. I hand hold. That lens length is 760 mm)

Enjoy the day!

  1. your pictures are beautiful! Love that lens! Wow, I am so amateur at picture-taking, I wouldn't know how to hold that big of lens steady!

  3. extension tubes? What's your favorite walk about lens? I'm favoring my 24-70 right now but have been shooting on AV mode. I need to practice shooting on Manual for sports photog.
